1. REGISTRATION |

Register
to obtain your very own FREE
account with username and password.
This account allows you to buy and sell
in Auctions and buy merchant items (See
HOW
TO SELL).

2. ACCESSING YOUR ACCOUNT |
On
registering, you will be emailed your login
information, allowing you to access
your account.
You are
able to alter your details, such as your delivery
address, password, credit card information
etc. and take care of tasks such as item listing,
order history and more.
Your account holds information such as your
recent trading history, your bidding history
together with the status of your active bids
and more.

3. BROWSING THE SITE |

To browse, simply select the desired category
from the menu bar to the left or the tabs
at the top, then select the product categories
you are interested in for a listing of available
items.
There
are two types of listings - Auction
( )
and Merchant ( )
- AUCTION
LISTINGS are items companies
or individuals have in surplus and wish
to sell. These items can be bid on and
if you are the winning bidder receive
the items.
- MERCHANT
LISTINGS
are new commercially listed items these
you can purchase there and then.

4. ORDERING AND BIDDING |
|
PetroChemLink.Com
operates both as an auction and online store.
Valid credit card details are required to
make your purchase or bid offer legitimate.
- SURPLUS
AUCTION - BIDDING
When browsing for Surplus Auction items
you will find three types of auction
STANDARD, RESERVED and
DUTCH.
The bid you place must exceed the highest
bid currently made or if no bids have
been placed, your bid must exceed the
starting bid.
Each bid must be greater than or equal
to the increment amount specified for
the auction item. You can continue to
bid up to your value of the item.
At the close of the auction if your bid
wins you will be notified with full details
by email.
The seller of the item will also be notified
with your information and will contact
you to conclude the transaction.
- MERCHANT
LISTINGS - ORDERING
Browse and select merchant items, each
item is added to your CURRENT ORDER
basket
View the contents and the total cost of
your CURRENT ORDER at any time.
Proceed to CHECKOUT to conclude
the order. Your credit card will then
be validated and debited and your order
will be processed and delivered.

5. PAYING FOR ITEMS - SECURE PAYMENTS |
For AUCTION
items the seller will arrange for you to pay
for the item as specified in the seller's
listed payment methods.
For MERCHANT
Items your credit card will be validated and
debited for the appropriate amount.

6. RECEIVING ITEMS |
All items
will be sent to the delivery address as shown
in the registration details by the method
as specified in the listing by the seller.

7. DISPUTES |
|
For
an AUCTION item if you are NOT satisfied
with the item delivered or you believe a
mistake has been made, we recommend you
contact the supplier of the particular item.
Contact PetroChemLink.Com HOWEVER if agreements
cannot be reached, send an email outlining
the exact problem to info@petrochemlink.com
and we shall give the matter prompt attention.
For
a MERCHANT item should you NOT be
satisfied with the item delivered or you
believe a mistake has been made, PetroChemLink.Com
will refund all monies on return of the
items minus delivery costs.
