Final
Value Fees
At the end of an auction,
you will be charged a Final Value Fee. This is
based on the final value of your item/items
sold.
Regular
and Reserve Auctions
- The Final Value is the closing bid.
Dutch
Auctions -
The Final Value is determined by the lowest
successful bid multiplied by the quantity of
items sold.
Final Value Fees are
calculated as follows:
-
1% of the amount of the
high bid (at the auction close) from
AU$10,001 and up.
-
2% of the amount of the
high bid (at the auction close) from AU$201
to AU$10,000
-
5% of the amount of the
high bid (at the auction close) from AU$101
to AU$200
-
15% of the amount of the
high bid (at the auction close) from AU$30
to AU$100
Re-listing
Item(s)
If your item does not sell,
you can re-list your item at anytime with
PetroChemLink
·
You can revise the title, bid price, item, or
any of the descriptive features on the item.

After the item sells, you will be charged the
applicable Final Value Fee.
Final
Value Fee Credit Request
Final value fees are
refundable under certain circumstances as
outlined below.
As a seller, you may
request a Final Value Fee Credit for the
following reasons:

High bidder did not respond after you
attempted to contact them (Please allow at
least 10 days for them to respond).

High bidder "backed out" and did not buy
item.

High bidder's cheque bounced or they
placed a stop payment on it.

Sale price was actually lower than highest
bid.
·
High bidder backed out. You sold item to a
lower bidder at a lower price.
·
One or more of your Dutch Auction bidders
backed out of sale. |
To make a Final Value Fee
credit request:
-
Please allow at least ten
(10) business days for a bidder to respond
to your attempts to contact them.
-
You must submit your
request within 60 days of the end of an
auction. PetroChemLink is unable to process
credit requests received more than 60 days
after the end of an auction.
The following processing
policies apply:
The
information provided in your credit request
will be used to identify Non-Paying Bidders,
bidders who win an auction but don't follow
through with the transaction will incur the
following.

Second offence: warning
and 30 day suspension
-
Third offence: indefinite
suspension.

Making false credit
claims is a form of fee avoidance. Sellers
found to be guilty of this offence will be
suspended.

Under normal
circumstances, PetroChemLink will apply
credit to your account within 5-9 business
days following receipt of your request.

If we have any questions
about your final value fee credit request we
will contact you.
Instructions
To make a refund request,
mail PetroChemLink at
sales@petrochemlink.com stating username
and item number of the item not sold.
Payment Terms
The credit card on file, in
the registration details, will be debited the
fee as detailed above at the end of a
successful Auction.
Note
- You do not purchase any exclusive rights to
a Web page on PetroChemLink. PetroChemLink
may, in our sole discretion, and without your
consent or payment to you, place third party
advertisements on any Web page within our
site.
