Job Description Successfully manage efforts as the Contracts Manager on multiple projects with TIC (Total Installed Cost) greater than $500 Million. Candidate must be willing to accept field assignments internationally including: Australia, South America, North America, Middle East, Africa, and Asia. Experience working on or supporting engineering, procurement and construction of copper, gold, iron ore, aluminum, diamonds, or other mining & metals projects is preferred. Responsibilities: Manage a staff of contract personnel and coordinate with sales, engineering, project manager, project controls, site management as well as the client to ensure proper contracting effort in accordance with Fluor practices. Be proactive with contractors to ensure contract compliance, generation of progress reports, schedules, daily and other status reports, invoices and supporting documents in a timely manner. Support project Startup assistance to identify staffing needs, System requirements and project procedure and execution plans. Interface with internal and external management with respect to project contracting activities. Monitor performance of the project contract activities, analyze risk situations and take proactive control where required. The selected candidate should have experience implementing and managing the lead contracts, function on large EPC and EPCM projects related to Mining & Metals projects. Negotiations skills, excellent communication skills and ability to manage many tasks.
